Abstract

This paper summarizes the utilization of theoretical methods to calculate kinetic parameters (reaction order n, activation energy E, and Arrhenius constant (Ko) and thermodynamic parameters entropy ΔS#, enthalpy ΔH# and heat capacity (Cp) of the solid materials such as polymer, monomer, oligomer, metal complexes, alloys, composites, glasses and organic compounds. In order to determine these parameters, various methods have been developed in literature. In this paper, it is mainly also aimed how to be determined the kinetic and thermodynamics parameters and possible reaction mechanism in the any material studied.
